Rysbroeck, 3/13/1935
Now I got your airmail letter and thank you, such a pretty stamp I hurry up to figure out the house rent is from Feb. 15 – 1933 – to April 1st – 1935 – 1275 Kronen, of Konstanu I have stopped with keeping track since it often happened that I got 10 Kronen or a couple of Kronen of Frederick’s pocket. Those that I have got at the office Frederik got a receipt for every time but I can figure that on the average it has been 100 Konen a month that is none this winter. Furthermore, Frederik paid the shipway bill, the boat slip from spring 1933, for a new mast, paint etc. furthermore we have gotten things from ships store Claus Hansen for Bran Yachts Buro the brothers Dahl and Northoundswerft for about 200, total: 4125. In addition, we have got sails from Frederik, a pointed sail means, jib, and staysail, Mainsail. We have also gotten but at the time we got it, Frederik said, that Peter should get it in return for making frames for awnings. The last check from the 29th of February was for 3550 Kronen and Frederik has got one that should be an exchange for this the 29th of March and that is the same amount 3350. Furthermore, we are speculating if it wasn’t better if Lars anu I took the steamer now and tuff tuff tuff went to Copenhagen. Peter stays here as nurse for Anna instead of coming with Restmore this summer. 35 000 to Marie and me you would call a good result that is possible. I have nothing much to tell, the weather is better, the last couple of days and Peter has slowly started on spring jobs as good as he can jump around on his one and a half legs. I thought it would make the difficulties easier for Valdemar if I took a quick trip to Copenhagen, also I would sell the piano, talk a little more with the “Danes” (newspaper that Peter would write for) etc. I suppose I can see Ester, what do you think of that?
at last many loving greetings from Lars, Anna, Peter, Else.
