This you may call an express answering of your letter but the case is that sneaky as I am I enclose the tas papers hoping that you will pass by for this installed bog and if not that there is a 10 øre left over on my account which in any case is cheaper than 1 franc 75 (that’s to mail it). Is it possible that you, Valdemar, have had enough to do with my things, now like Frederik to come with the messages at the conference such messages at the conference just a couple of hours before, that is just like when he all of a sudden decides to send a special delivery letter here but it’s not fair that everyone has just to jump for him. I wonder if it isn’t a question and so much better for us to be included with the other creditors, there are probably many debts also in the business but it is of course not easy to know what will be best. We have regrettably to announce that with the 7 day it was finished Lars’s brilliant time (Glanzzeit), of course we have often won with his sitting on the potty, but a pair of pants there are usually again every day, but often he accomplishes to go himself! to get the potty but it’s not so absolutely sure as he gets a cup when he is thirsty. Hallo has not either been behaving herself as satisfactory in the last couple of days and she is a real “screaming balloon”. She has had some red spots on the back and the legs but after having studied more and the dictionary we now knew that measles start in the face with fewer following. In this regard we were quieted down and now they are gone. I think it was list rash since it didn’t succeed any other way, we play Tropic’s in this tropical landscape here. It is very mild. Lars can play in the cockpit almost every day. Hallo is now behaving beautifully, she is sitting an my lap eating your letter. I hope it doesn’t give stomach problems. We include some stamps from the engineer, it’s supposed to be a little trial collection in exchange, the engineer was of course especially thankful for all the old Danish stamps including the special unusual designs. In regards to the piano I think it can be standing at the Taylor’s for a while, i think they treat it well and of course then there are no transportation expenses but perhaps we should do something about getting it sold. Would you be so kind as to say Hello to Ester. Maybe I should give her a little hint about preparing some coffee? Here we have a brake out of chess epidemic on board! Every day after lunch Lars is put into his bunk, hallo is put in a corner of the couch and then it starts. Unfortunately I only win when Peter sits and sleeps. Otherwise everything is as usual and now I have again my letter conscience clear. Peter has sniffed with his long nose last night that there was a letter from you with the mailman this morning and there you are, he was right.
At last some loving greetings, Peter, Anna, Lars, Else.
From another letter… **************************** need to fix
immensely to be among all those kids. The engineer is very interested in stamp collecting so if it’s not too much trouble for you, Valdemar, we would ask you please to decorate eventual letters to us with different stamps. As far as I remember you have a stamp moisturizer I don’t want on my conscience that you become dry in the throat and drink all the coffee from Marie. In addition to the engineer we get together with the boatsman from the Club ship and his wife. Also, we have 2 medicine studying guys coming now and then from Antwerp and we talk with our milk delivery woman and grocery women in Flemish. So, you see we are not bored. I walk a little trip with the kids every day. The weather is mild and comfortable. Anna has changed her name. She is now “‘Hallo”. At least she believes it herself completely. when Peter shouts “Hallo” she laughs over her complete moon round face. If Kay (Manes brother) would like to exchange stamps with the engineer we will put some Belgian against Scandinavian in our letters to you. Lars has occupied a little girl friend. He has become engaged in the milkman’s little daughter Marietie who is 19 month old and – thinks that Lars is a clever fellow Nibble and when we come on our daily visit she comes and kisses him although Lars is more interested in candy, apples, and oranges, which Marietie grandfather let fall down in his tureen. Peter is busy occupied with taking the mast out of “Restmore”. The little mast is broken, it got its death blow toe neeled in Album n not in a hurricane like storm but when I used it as a rail when I should jump ashore. I still insist that there was something rotten in it, couldn’t be that I was overweight. The weather is summer like warm and since our little oven has got a 17 thermostat to show 30 degrees I feel like Pm reakkY tett abke to sneeze any more wise cracks out of my upheated brain and will therefore finish off with loving greetings Yours Lars, Anna, Peter, and Else,
