Martinique Sept 28 1937
Now we stay here till the middle of October then the hurricane time has passed and then we sail to Guadeloupe, St. Martin, St. Thomas where we would take to stay and celebrate X-mas perhaps then the last time it’s been more hot than it’s comfortable and we are quite tired and drowsy and look forward to sailing a little north that’s how it is, too little or too much ruins everything. Now again you start with furnace and here we are complaining about the sunshine and enjoy the raining weather. Now I don’t have any more in my mind except a little bit of very thin watery soup and that nonsense that comes out of that I would rather bother you with.
And finish up with many loving greetings. L A P E
