Yes, as you see for to complete the mess in the correspondence I now write from a fourth and completely different place but it’s a little difficult for us to figure out the speed. Anyway, today we got your letter sent to Ostende, Belgium, heartily thanks! Ostende has become a difficult place to reach, it lays just 15 km away from here but we have been blown in here and laying here for 3 days. Therefore today Peter tried and reached Ostende from the country road and brought home the interesting mail from you with the many different news. It is quite comfortable to know how much you have seen from an angle of 47000, is it of course only pocket money? Out better one bird in the hand than ten in another place, and the 500 from Frederik is still as though we won in the lottery. You wrote, you got a letter with the contents intended for Frederik, did I write your address on the letter? then it was a mistake, it should have been addressed to Frederik. Did you send it on? Your letter to Ramsgate we will still get with the changed address because we gave up to go to Ramsgate. In regards to the money I myself don’t have any idea where it is best to have without risking that the other people use it. Obligations is probably best but in that case you probably know better than I, if you want to, you could speak about it with uncle Jens. It is still better to let a little be over in the bank book. If you buy for 5000 there will probably 5 to 600 be left over for our expenses. We are now considering a couple of new purchases for “Restmore” for instance a proper water tank and change of the cockpit. In regards to the piano I have written to the inlaws that they should ask about the duty themselves that it doesn’t get too expensive but we haven’t heard from them. I still think that the Taylor’s are just happy for to have it but for us it would be better to sell it. Our next address is Hastrystrand, Poole. This place is fantastic nice with a beach and a long broad beach promenade, where there are very fancy hotels. The harbor is only a little shallow and we are on ground every time it is low tide, but it’s quite peaceful to lay here. Here is not so much wind but whatever wind there is, it blows straight against and with the sea against us it also doesn’t pay to come about (tack). Therefore, we have acquired some patience and hope for the change of the wind. Otherwise we don’t have any news on the wall paper. Lars has now taught himself to wind up his car which is very nice for us and definitely interesting for himself. He has played with it almost the entire day. Anna has not done any new naughtiness. If you will fix it up with the obligations for me you must subtract for yourself, for postage, time etc. and finally many loving greetings from Lars, Anna, Peter, Else.
