Now this letter has to be finished. We have reached here safely and the Belgian people are much friendlier than those stupid Dutchmen. Thanks to them (Dutchmen) we now sit warm and good here tonight. we bought as good as new a splendid petroleum heater, Kvertchen for 75 Øre. Since it’s not nice to have so little money here I will he ask you to send I00 Krone, you don’t need to exchange them. will you send them to post master Brussels, but we wouldn’t be there probably before next week. When you get a Belgian newspaper please don’t throw it away but study it carefully.
