There are many kinds of people in the world
today
Some are straight and some are gay
There is no telling whom you will meet
Out in the world on easy street.
Now there are those that will surmise
That living alone is no great prize
For each day it seems is just as the first
And companionship is the thing for which
they do thirst.
If things don’t work out at least you have
tried
To make the world less lonely before you
have died.
Befriending a stranger is the first step to
take
Make sure its sincere for this you can’t
fake.
As the years roll by you will find the
choice you have made,
Is the right one after all, and what
dividends it has paid!
You’ve not only found a companion but a
lover and friend
And together you will see this life to the
end.
So like a bird that cannot wait to take
flight,
When you meet that certain someone…OH what
a delight!
Your search is over and success you have
found
How beautiful she looks in her white
wedding gown.
Years later as you look back on your life,
You now have some beautiful children and
such a beautiful wife
It would never have come about, this story
I’ve told,
If you didn’t befriend a stranger, and
found your rainbows gold!
