Mom, God’s wisdom knows no bounds,
He knows of your injury and that your spirits are down.
He knows of your heartaches and what you’ve gone through,
But remember this mighty God is always with you.
You came here with a pain you said was the worst
You said it felt as though you skin had burst
You said it was the worst pain you every had
But with the doctor’s help now it isn’t as bad.
God puts little obstacles in our path each day
To remind us of him and that we should pray
For prayer is the only way to ask for a cure
And he will always answer your knock on his door.
So Mom when you feel down and there looks like no escape.
Remember his words for its you he won’t forsake.
He wants you to rest and your strength he’ll restore.
And by his side you will soon walk out the door.
Into the arms of the family and friends that miss you so much.
To the grandchildren and pets that long for your touch.
To the flowers that gently grow on the hill in the spring.
For without you to tend them they won’t mean a thing.
Your Children all wait and hope you will keep,
Your promises to get well and have plenty to eat
For nourishment is to the body is as grace to the soul
So keep your spirits high my mother of gold
Each day will bring you closer to the thing you desire
Each day you will grow stronger as you walk thru the fire
For only by being tested will you eventually see,
That God has a perfect plan for you and for me.
