Do you see what I see? ©

Once I looked up and swore I saw a face
It was hidden among the stars as the angels
sang amazing grace,
I thought I noticed a smile or was it the
twinkle of his eye
It took millions of stars to draw that
beautiful face upon the midnight sky
The full moon showed up as the hours passed
by
It lit up the evening like the fourth of
July
The sun was no-where in sight for this was
the moon’s domain
And there suspended in space throughout the
night it would remain.
Then as the wee hours of the morning
brought sunlight to the sky
There was a shimmer of light as the sun
rose to the rooster’s cry
As I watched the day began to get brighter
with each passing moment
And I knew that .
It’s
funny you know, how little things escape our glance,
It’s
also funny how we always ask the man upstairs for another
chance.
Just remember that he is fair and just
And all he wants is what is best for each
and every one of us.
