DUMPLINS RECIPE

INGREDIENTS:
* 3 cups white flour
* 3 tblsp shortening
* 1 tsp salt
* 1 cup water or milk
Directions:
1.Cut shortening into flour, add salt, sprinkle with milk or water, and mix well. Cut into 3-inch lengths.
2.Turn out on a floured board and knead until ingredients are thoroughly combined. Roll out in a long narrow snake-like roll to a thickness of 1/4 inch.
3.Make a lengthwise depression with the hand into each piece. Drop the dumplins into boiling water and cook until they float.
