Welcome to this web site.
It has taken me years of research and I am still researching our ANCESTORS and their DESCENDANTS.
I have “AWAKENED THE DEAD” as some of you have expressed, to leave my Grandchildren a history of where their Grandparents came from as we did not come from thin air.
My research has been thru public records , books and some not many Family contributions.
Within these electronic walls you will find branches of our families that extend throughout, Puerto Rico, St. Thomas, VI, Spain, Venezuela, Guatemala, Cuba and many other countries. In the USA the States are North Carolina, Tennessee, Maryland, Virginia and Indiana just to name a few.
Our families include men and women from different social and educational backgrounds, from sugar cane and tobacco field laborers to housekeepers and farmers, to world renown Writers, Soldiers, Sailors, Marines, Airmen, public servants like Pharmacists, Dentists, Doctors, Surgeons, Preachers, Judges and yes Governor, just to name a few.
From simple one room store merchants to notable Poets and Adventurers. I am proud of every one of them and all the contributions each made to our family history.
My Most Special Thanks go to MY BROTHER Joseph Patrick Parsons Gimenez. Whom, when I got interested in Genealogy 35 years ago, provided me with my very first piece of information on my Parents that has led me and continues to lead me in a world of History and Adventure of our families.
I would also like to thank those of you who have helped me with my search providing me some info of your families and also provided me with pictures…Gracias!
I would like to give Thanks to Hans Dohm who has had the brilliant Idea of creating this family page for all to see and hopefully contribute. So, Please take out those albums, dust them up, turn the pages and contribute for the rest of us to see those Ancestors we have never seen or knew about.
